HBPD seeks bank robbery suspect

Huntington Beach police are asking for the public’s help to find a man suspected of robbing a US Bank.

The suspect at about 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 11, walked into the bank in the 9000 block of Garfield Avenue and approached a teller window, police said.

The man passed a note to the teller demanding cash.

The note also said the suspect was carrying a gun, but the teller did not see a weapon, police said.

The teller handed over an undisclosed amount of cash and left the bank on foot westbound toward Garfield Avenue, police said.

The suspect is described as a Caucasian male, 25-30 years old, about 6 feet tall with short dark hair and a thin build. Screenshot 2014-10-16 15.53.51
