HBPD: Woman allegedly hits boyfriend, gets bit by pit bull


Huntington Beach police arrested a woman on suspicion of spousal battery after she allegedly hit her boyfriend during an argument.

Police at about 7:30 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 19, responded to reports of a disturbance between a couple.

The woman involved in the disturbance hit her boyfriend several times, police said.

During the argument, the family pit bill got excited, jumped up and bit the woman in the face, police said.

Police arrested the woman and took her to a local hospital, where she was treated for minor injuries from the dog bite.
