Two juveniles were arrested by La Habra police after they were suspected of attempting to burglarize a home in the 500 block of North Chestnut Street.
Officers were called to the house at about 3:40 p.m. Saturday afternoon after the homeowner reportedly interrupted a burglary in process.
The suspected burglars fled in a newer model GMC Yukon that was light-colored and had paper license plates, police said.
About two hours later, Sgt. Jose Quirarte stopped a vehicle matching that description at the intersection of La Habra Boulevard and Cypress Street.
The two juveniles in the car matched the description of the suspected burglars and were arrested.
