When not fighting crime, La Habra’s Prinz knows how to charm.
The police K-9 recently showed off his skills at a presentation for students at Meadow Green Elementary School, where he quickly became the object of one young girl’s affection.
Wearing ruby red shoes and a sweet smile, Isabella met Prinz after the presentation and told K-9 handler Cpl. Nick Baclit she soon would have a dog just like him.
Instead of being trained to chase down criminals or sniff out drugs, Isabella’s dog willserve as a companion and guide.
Judging by this photo, it seems Isabella will be a natural handler, and a great friend, for her first service dog.
