Update: Missing man with dementia, 71, found, Fullerton Police say

Malcolm Parker last was seen boarding an Amtrak train in Oceanside at around 11:45 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 13.

Parker, who has dementia and takes medication for it, was due to arrive in Fullerton at about 1 p.m. Tuesday, but he never showed up.

On Wednesday, the Fullerton PD asked for the public’s help in finding him.

Parker lives in the 700 block of Ocean View Drive.

Fullerton PD detectives are viewing surveillance camera footage to determine if Parker got off the train between Oceanside and Fullerton.

He was discharged Jan. 6 from a care facility in Laguna Beach and had been staying with an older brother in the City of Bonsall until Jan. 13, police said.

He is described as Caucasian, 5 feet 11 inches, 160 pounds with grey hair and blue eyes.

Parker last was seen wearing a long-sleeved, dark-blue, button-up shirt, black dress pants and brown loafer-style shoes.
