Westminster police are investigating what caused a man to crash his pick-up truck into the side of a mobile home Monday morning, fatally injuring him.
Police at about 7:30 a.m. Monday, Dec. 12, responded to reports of a single-vehicle crash in the 13000 block of Melanie Lane at Los Robles Mobile Estates, police said.
When officers arrived, they found the driver of a Ford pick-up truck unresponsive. Orange County Fire Authority firefighters also responded and took the driver to a nearby hospital.
The driver later succumbed to his injuries, police said. Nobody inside the mobile home was injured.
Police are not releasing the man’s name until his family is notified. The traffic division is investigating the crash and asking any witness to call 714-898-3315.
