Man killed in hit and run is identified as Buena Park man

The wheelchair-bound man who was killed in a hit-and-run traffic collision on Monday night has been identified by the Orange County Coroner’s Office as 49-year-old Marc Borgfield of Buena Park, according to Fullerton police.

Fullerton police investigators suspect the vehicle that hit Borgfield may have been a 1991-1994 white Ford Explorer. The vehicle sustained significant damage to the front grill in between the headlights. The accident occurred near the corner of Orangethorpe and Magnolia avenues.

Anyone who has seen a similar vehicle or have any information regarding this traffic collision is asked to contact the Fullerton Police Department. The investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is encouraged to
