A Monday, Oct. 16 news release from the Orange County Sheriff’s Department:
Orange County Sheriff’s Department investigators have arrested four men suspected of luring a man to a fraudulent business deal and robbing him at gunpoint in Yorba Linda.
Deputies at about 9 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 19, responded to reports of an armed robbery in the 20100 block of Channing Lane.
The victim told investigators he had arranged to engage in a business transaction with the suspects. When the victim arrived at the meeting place, the suspects did not show and instead followed the victim to his home where they robbed him.
