OCSD investigators seek armed robbery suspects who hit convenience store in Stanton

The Orange County Sheriff’s Department is looking for two males suspected of carrying out an armed robbery at a small convenience store in the 10000 block of Dale Avenue in Stanton last Tuesday.

At about 8:30 p.m. on Dec. 27, Orange County Sheriff’s deputies received reports of two men entering the store and pointing semi-automatic handguns at two clerks.

Suspect No. 1, carrying the handgun, is described as a Hispanic male in his 20s, approximately 5 feet 10 inches, 160 pounds, with brown hair.

One suspect, carrying a handgun in one hand and a stun gun in the other, pointed the stun gun toward the clerk and activated it while demanding money from the cash register and the clerk’s purse.

The suspects were last seen leaving the area in a dark-colored vehicle with paper plates.

Suspect No. 2, carrying the stun gun and handgun, is described as a Hispanic male in his 30s, approximately 5 feet 7 inches, with dark brown hair.
