A woman suspected of shoplifting at the Walmart in the 1300 block of Beach Boulvard was able to escape custody after biting a security officer on the arm, La Habra police said.
LHPD officers responded to the store after the incident was reported at about 3:25 p.m. Saturday. The woman reportedly left the store with stolen items when the security officer approached, and she attempted to punch him in the groin and bit his arm.
The woman escaped in a white, four-door, Ford F150 truck.
