A mother and her son have been arrested in the shooting death of a woman outside a home in Garden Grove, police said Friday, although the alleged gunman is not in custody.
Sandy Cisneros Liscano, 44, and Adrian Gabriel Liscano, 19, were arrested at around 9 .m. Thursday, Aug. 25, according to a news release.
The GGPD said the two were in a physical altercation with the victim, Kellie Nichol, 31, of Trabuco Canyon, in the front yard of a home in the 13500 block of Purdy Street just before midnight on Wednesday, Aug. 24.
Nichol was shot and died at the scene.
An additional suspect only being described as a male Hispanic, 19, is believed to be the shooter and is not in custody, the news release said. The GGPD did not release his name.
The handgun used in the crime has not been recovered.
Both Adrian and Sandy Liscano were booked into the Orange County Jail on suspicion of homicide and each are being held in lieu of $1 million bail.
