Kaleena Mosqueda-Lewis, the 21-year-old daughter of Anaheim Fire & Rescue firefighter Khairi Ali, was featured in a Behind the Badge OC story in April (click here to read) when UConn was vying for the NCAA women’s basketball title against Notre Dame (UConn went on to win that game).

Now Kaleena plays for the Seattle Storm, and Ali is asking that people visit wnba.com and vote for her to play in the WNBA All-Star Game. Vote at the bottom of the page in the orange box. The poll ends tomorrow, July 9.

Kaleena, a 5-foot-11, 180-pound rookie forward for the Storm, is the best long-distance shooter in women’s NCAA history.

“I appreciate everyone’s help!” Ali says.
